At East Coast Creatives Journal, our mission is to spotlight the remarkable talent flourishing across the East Coast and at times, beyond. We are committed to highlighting the diverse voices, groundbreaking artistry, and compelling stories of creators who define our region’s cultural identity. Through our meticulously designed bi-annual print magazine, we bring their work to life with elegance and impact.
Hi there! I’m Angelina Obritsch, the Editor of the East Coast Creatives Journal, as well as a family and wedding photographer located near Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, operating Average Jane Photography. Back in 2023, I started this online platform to bring together and highlight the incredible creative talent throughout our region, never expecting it would quickly pave the way for me to lead a bi-annual print magazine that continues to grow and evolve with the help of all our contributors.
We’re finalizing the details of our third issue in the next few weeks, and I’m thrilled for you all to discover what we’ve been working on.

My name is Jill Roberts, for about 10 years now I have been a fine art photographer specializing in weddings and portraits. In the last year I have shifted and expended into a more in depth venture opening an Editorial Media company, Roberts & Co specializing in editorial photography and cinema.
My name is Shaeline Stromberg. I am the owner and photographer behind Shaeline Faith Photography. I am a wife and a mom to 2 and waiting for our 3rd. I have been capturing love stories of all kinds since 2010 but started full time in 2016 when I moved to Halifax. I love the outdoors- adventuring, camping, going for walks. I love to cook and try new recipes. I am an active person with my kids, working out, playing basketball and hiking (when I can).
Hi my name is Michelle Leudy. I’m a wife, mom and nana to three. We bought our dream/forever home almost four years ago and that has become my new baby. Slowly renovating and DIY-ing has been a big part of my life lately. If I dont have a camera in hand you will likely see me with a paintbrush. I spend a lot of time with my grandbabies and try to be very present and active in their lives. I also do crossfit which is a big part of my life and it's my saving grace many days, so ya not much time to be bored.
